Meet Juniper – Ready for Her True Forever Home

Juniper was first rescued from Gadsden County Animal Control back in December 2024. She was rehomed shortly after, but six months later, she's once again searching for a loving foster or forever home.

Sadly, her previous family returned her due to a loss of interest and financial strain. While her journey has had a few bumps, we remain fully committed to finding Juniper the happy, stable life she deserves.

Juniper is an adventurous girl who would thrive in an active home. She absolutely loves water activities and would make an amazing companion for someone who enjoys the outdoors.

She’d do BEST as the only dog/pet.

Could you be the one to give Juniper a fresh start and the love she’s been waiting for?

She’s ready—are you?

Meet Peanut – A Sweetheart Ready for Her Forever Home

Peanut was surrendered as a stray to Gadsden County Animal Control. While another rescue passed on her due to her heartworm-positive status, we knew she deserved a second chance—and we were happy to step in.

Now safe in a loving foster home, Peanut is doing great and finally getting the life she deserves.

She’s already been spayed and has completed her heartworm treatment, so she’s truly ready for her next chapter!

Peanut is a calm, affectionate girl who would make the perfect couch buddy. She loves relaxing, snuggling, and being near her people.

Could you be the forever family Peanut has been waiting for?

Meet Captain – A Brave Pup with a Heart of Gold

Captain was rescued from Gadsden County Animal Control after suffering an injury to his left eye. Since then, he’s been under the care of a veterinary ophthalmologist and has already had two visits. Thanks to daily eye drops, his condition had improved, but due to his dislike for the drops and loss of vision on that eye we recently removed it - making him the cutest "winky face" in town!

Captain is full of spirit, spunk, and a sense of adventure. He doesn’t let anything slow him down and is always ready to explore the world around him.

Could you be the loving forever family this brave little soul has been waiting for?

Meet Mysterious Merlin – Our Little Wizard on a Healing Quest 🪄

Merlin, fondly known as “Mysterious Merlin,” was discovered wandering as a stray and brought to a rural county shelter. From the moment we met him, we knew there was something special about this enchanting soul.

When he arrived, Merlin bore a large, troubling growth in his inguinal area—a dark spell cast upon an otherwise magical pup. The mass was surgically removed on January 10, 2025, but, like a curse not fully broken, the lesion has started to return… and it’s growing quickly.

We've consulted the wisest veterinary wizards and healers—specialists from UGA and beyond—but the origin of this ailment remains a mystery even the most seasoned practitioners can’t yet solve.

However his final diagnosis was determined to be a congenital disorder called Lymphatic Vascular Malformation. For which there is no known cure or effective treatment.

But we’re not surrendering to the dark forces just yet.

Merlin is currently under the protective care of Dr. Bowman, his foster guardian and magical mentor, as we continue our quest to uncover a cure. He is now undergoing sclerotherapy at Capital Veterinary Specialists—a trial treatment in hopes of lifting this lingering curse.

✨ While Merlin isn’t ready for adoption just yet, we believe in the power of hope, healing, and a little bit of magic.

🧙‍♂️ Will you join our circle of supporters and help us fund the spells, potions, and care Merlin needs to continue his journey?
Your donation is more than a gift—it’s a powerful charm of love, lighting the path toward healing for this brave little wizard.
