The Good Karma Project

The Good Karma Project, established in 2022 by Dr. Contessa Bowman, is a non-profit dog rescue serving Tallahassee, FL and surrounding rural areas. Our mission is to selectively pull the most needy, vulnerable animals from local or surrounding shelters/rescues in need of direct veterinary care.  All animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive thorough, appropriate medical care throughout their stay with us. We are dedicated to restoring the physical and emotional health of all animals in our care as they await placement in loving, forever homes.

Sandy - previously known as "Bingo" - was transferred from Tallahassee Animal Services and into TGKP family after being screened by our trainer to play "Sandy" in the production ANNIE!  

We are so lucky to join in partnership with The Young Actors Theater! She will made her broadway debut in April.

The play dates are as follows:

Friday, April 4th - 7:00pm Saturday, April 5th - 1:00pm

Sunday, April 6th - 1:00om & 7:00pm

Wednesday, April 9th - 10:30am & 12:00pm - School Matinees

April 12th - 10:00am (Abbreviated - Sensory Friendly); 1:00pm /7:00pm
