The Good Karma Project

The Good Karma Project, established in 2022 by Dr. Contessa Bowman, is a non-profit dog rescue serving Tallahassee, FL and surrounding rural areas. Our mission is to selectively pull the most needy, vulnerable animals from local or surrounding shelters/rescues in need of direct veterinary care.  All animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive thorough, appropriate medical care throughout their stay with us. We are dedicated to restoring the physical and emotional health of all animals in our care as they await placement in loving, forever homes.

Vaccine Status: 

Up-to-date on Rabies, Bordetella and dhpp. 

Preventive: Heartgard/Bravecto

Heartworm status:  Negative - Recheck in 6 months (12/2025)

Microchipped

Daisy was surrendered by her owner to Gadsden County Animal Control.....She found her way to TGKP by being spotted in a photo with one of out other recently adopted dogs - IVY the Boston Terrier (recently adopted through our program)!
