The Good Karma Project

The Good Karma Project, established in 2022 by Dr. Contessa Bowman, is a non-profit dog rescue serving Tallahassee, FL and surrounding rural areas. Our mission is to selectively pull the most needy, vulnerable animals from local or surrounding shelters/rescues in need of direct veterinary care.  All animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive thorough, appropriate medical care throughout their stay with us. We are dedicated to restoring the physical and emotional health of all animals in our care as they await placement in loving, forever homes.

Smokey was acquired from a rural county shelter after being surrendered by his owner. 

He is absolutely adorable and perfect --> house trained, good with kids and other dogs, dose not seem bothered by cats. He loves being outside or in someones lap. He also loves to play fetch and rides GREAT in the car!
